About the ProgramYouth and Family Link's Social Emotional Learning Group is a year-long youth development program designed for male students in grades 6-8. The program helps students build positive social, emotional, and life skills in a supportive small-group setting.
Throughout the program, students will participate in guided Social Emotional Learning curriculum, group discussions, team-building activities, problem-solving exercises, and interactive activities that allow them to practice the skills they are learning in real-life situations.

Program Requirements and Important Information - Please review the following requirements before submitting this registration:
- Enrollment is limited to 10 students.
- Students must be male and enrolled in grades 6-8 at the time the program begins.
- Students are expected to participate for the full program year, September 2026 through June 2027.
- Group sessions are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30 PM.
- Students are expected to regularly attend scheduled group sessions and actively participate in program activities.
- Transportation is not provided. A parent, guardian, or approved adult is responsible for drop-off and pick-up for each session.
- Students must be picked up promptly at 7:30 PM.
- Students are expected to follow Youth and Family Link program expectations and treat staff and other participants with respect.
- Registration does not guarantee enrollment.
- All registrations will be reviewed by Youth and Family Link staff to determine eligibility, program availability, and appropriate program fit.
- Your child is not approved to attend until you receive confirmation from Youth and Family Link that the registration has been reviewed and accepted.
- Youth and Family Link staff may contact the parent or guardian to discuss the registration or request additional information before enrollment is approved.
- Continued participation may be reviewed if a student has excessive absences, is consistently unwilling to participate, or demonstrates behavior that significantly impacts the safety or participation of other students.
