Kelso Indian Education - Title VII Program needs YOU. Kelso Indian Education is designed to meet the unique education and cultural needs of American Indian / Alaska Native students in the Kelso School District.
The Program offers academic support at Barnes, Butler Acres, and Wallace. The program also offers tutoring, academic support at the highschools, family and culture nights to students from all other Kelso Schools. Culture Classes are provided for students of all ages and their families.
A quarterly newsletter is sent out to families enrolled in the program.
Who is eligible? To be eligible for Kelso Indian Education, the student, their parent, or their grandparent must be an enrolled member of a registered tribe.
Funding - The amount of funding available for the Kelso Indian Education Program is directly determined by the number of students enrolled in the Program. Your students' one time enrollment, regardless of whether they actively participate, will help other students continue to receive the services provided by the program.
