Youth and Family Link’s success is rooted in the support we receive from the community. Since 1960, we have provided services to youth and families.
Our commitment is to build a strong local community of support for families in need.
Our major support comes from:

Founded in 1962, the Lake Guild is a group of local volunteers who support the mission and programs of LINK. The Lake Guild holds an annual fund raiser and participates in other activities to support Link programs. Each member of the Guild volunteers a minimum of one day per month at the Link Thrift Shop.

Founded in 1969, the River Ranch Guild conducts an annual fund raiser to support Link. Each member of the River Ranch Guild volunteers at least one day per month at the Link Thrift Shop.

The Youth and Family Link Thrift Shop, located at 1212 Commerce Avenue in Longview, has been a major resource for the programs of Youth and Family Link. Since its establishment in 1963 by members of the guilds with generous support from the community at large, the Thrift Shop has provided funds to help achieve the LINK vision. Staffed entirely by volunteers, the Thrift Shop cleans, refurbishes, and resells gently-used, donated items.

United Way has been a donor and strong partner with Youth and Family Link. We work in close partnership to assess community need to develop services to help those in our local community. Over the past several years, United Way has supported the Link Teen Mentoring program.

Patrons Program
The Link Patrons Program allows private and foundation donors to support services in the local community. The Patrons Program reviews community needs and develops resources to address those needs. The Patrons Program supports many of our afterschool programs, mentoring and outreach services. The support of Patrons Program donors is the major reason why Link is able to serve the local community in areas of need that are under-served.
